Racial Justice

Back by popular demand, the Racial Justice Book Club enters its second year with a new list of 12 books examining institutional and interpersonal racism and racial equity. Come and join us for all twelve discussions or for just one or two. All are welcome, whether you have read closely or are just interested in learning more about the subject. Copies of the books can be found in the church library.

The next meeting will be Thursday, October 11 at 7:00 pm* in the Jerusalem Room,
second floor of the Administrative building.

*Please check back in January for the Winter Women’s Book Series.

“My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it, chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours… it is precisely through these stories in all their particularity, as I have long believed and often said, that God becomes known to each of us more powerfully and personally.”
~ Frederick Buechner
