Care for GCPC Children and Youth

Safe care for our children and youth is of the utmost importance to Grace Covenant. Professional, paid nursery staff and trained, caring volunteers help us assure parents and guardians their children and youth are receiving the highest quality care.

All GCPC folks who volunteer with our children and/or youth as nursery volunteers, teachers, youth advisors or any other role, must attend one a Child and Youth Protection Policy (CYPP) Training session. In the new year, we will be repopulating our list of trained folks, starting fresh, and will then offer annual renewal training online.

We also encourage others (parents, non-parents, grandparents, guardians, and all officers of the church) to attend one of the CYPP training sessions so that everyone is fully informed on how we can best care for our children as well as the children in our community.

Chris Campbell, GCPC member and co-founder of Campbell-Shatley Law Firm, will be facilitating the training sessions. Chris’ area of expertise is education and legal training. We are ever-so-grateful for Chris!
