Room in the Inn
Save the Date: November 12-19 for Room In The Inn
RITI is coming soon to GCPC, although it won’t be “here” due to our construction; we will host ROOM IN THE INN at our cordial neighbor, Grace Episcopal Church which is a block north from us on Merrimon Avenue.
We have had a lot of good news since our last RITI session! At least three of the ladies we last hosted in August are now in their very own apartments! That is a fourth of the population of a regular session of Room In The Inn! RITI works to help homeless women move off scary streets and into their very own housing. It is a model which works. We hope that you will be ready to help in any way that you can.
The Grace Covenant RITI team will work to provide a safe, warm, friendly place with yummy meals for the ladies who are in the program during the week of November 12 - 19, 2017, and we will need your help to make it happen and be a whole team!
What's Room in the Inn (RITI)?

How does it help?
RITI is a part of Asheville's Homeward Bound organization. Women can participate in RITI for 90 days, during which time they are helped to find permanent housing and provided with the skills and support that help them stay there.
What does GCPC do during that week?
Volunteers from both congregations provide all aspects of care while they are with us. This involves:
