WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY GARDEN!

The Grace Covenant Community Garden, begun in 2010, is a three-season garden tended spring through fall. Vested volunteer gardeners both from Grace Covenant Presbyterian and from the surrounding community cultivate the garden. The garden volunteers are organized into 4 teams, each working every other week either on a Wednesday or Saturday morning.

If you are interested in becoming a part of this volunteer gardening team, please let us know by filling out this form.

About 80-90% of the food we grow is shared with community organizations that distribute food to those unable to afford fresh vegetables and in need of nutrition. A group of gardeners in the form of a Steering Committee and a part-time Garden Manager lead our gardening efforts.

This garden is located on the grounds of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church,
789 Merrimon Avenue, in north Asheville.

This garden is fully funded by donations.  Click here, and select “Community Garden Fund” from the drop-down menu to make a donation to this wonderful community garden.
