“How good it is to sing praise to our God;
for God is gracious and a song of praise is fitting. “

       – from Psalm 147

Grace Covenant is a singing church.  Congregational singing, instrumental music, and a strong choral tradition have been hallmarks of the church’s life for decades.  The primary choir at Grace Covenant is the congregation.  Scripture calls on all of creation to sing and offer praise to God.  Those who gather in-person and those who participate online can attest to the vibrant presence of singing in our worship experience.  Our congregation is also blessed with numerous volunteers offering their gifts of singing and instrumental music.  Our  Chancel Choir, soloists, and instrumentalists all bring inspiration while augmenting and supporting the musical life of the congregation.

The COVID pandemic has brought challenges and opportunities as we have found new ways to “sing to the Lord.”  We have continued to sing and make music despite some of those challenges.  We believe the words of the hymn:  “through the church, the song goes on” and we continue to sing in new and exciting ways.   Opportunities for making music in person are taking shape again now that COVID restrictions are beginning to relax.  Anyone and everyone is invited to join us for our in-person worship option to join their voices with the congregation.  You can also sing with us online from where ever you are!   If you would like to join our Chancel Choir or share your individual talents as a vocalist or instrumentalist you can email our Director of Music, Jeff Jones.  Also, watch for additional opportunities as we continue to move forward.
